# What is Vinland?

Vinland is a skill-based territory expansion game that applies Darwinian principles and tribal competition to token deployment. Playing crypto markets is already very similar to playing video games in many ways – Vinland extrapolates this a step further by transforming crypto trading into an interactive, strategic game.
